Cast Iron Back Bench Kit

The full kit contains:

• An Assembly guide
• 9 hardwood slats
• 1 centre strap, flat and undrilled*
• 16 bolts, nuts and washers
• 28 screws

NOTE: Bench ends / cast iron back NOT included

If you don’t require slats, you can purchase bench accessories separately.

* In order to accommodate the various types of benches, the centre strap is supplied flat and undrilled and will need bending to shape.

About the slats

Our cast-iron backed bench kit comprises 9 hardwood slats (Iroko). Five of these are for the seat and are supplied drilled with holes centred and offset 18mm from the end of the slat. These slats are 1.2m long x 60mm x 21mm.

The remaining four make up the frame around the iron back and are supplied undrilled as holes may not be in the centre of the slat. Two are 1.2m long x 60mm x 21mm and have one square long edge. The other two are 300mm long x 50mm x 21mm and are square edged to cut as short uprights.
